Area Information

Siegerland airport is located at the border triangle of North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate and Hessen. It is situated in one of the most densely wooden areas of Germany. Its rolling hills make the area a paradise for hiking and for discovering wild rivers as well as pittoresque medieval villages.

The closest town is Burbach, just 10 min from the aiport. Burbach has all amenities for daily life like discounters, doctors, schools, train station, outdoor pool. The university city of Siegen with its 120.000 inhabitants is 30 min from the airport.

The international airports Cologne/Bonn (CGN) and Frankfurt (FRA)  are located within a one hour drive.
